Bergy's offseason gets an A

Good depth up front and should be really stingy on defense

They will have to if they move Byron. At least a 2nd in my opinion. We'll see.

Oh that's right, by adding an extra F this offseason he's gonna lose everyone next year! Cup or bust I guess!!

But it is what is.

I see the bottom 6 more like:

Lehkonen- Kotkaniemi- Toffoli
Byron-Evens-Armia

I am not sure Byron is gone, tbh, he is valuable in many situations and CJ loves to use that guy.

it's really the injuries that hurt his case.

He had his moments.

gonna suck when future superstars KK and Suzuki ask for raises when their ELCs are up and bergevin pulls out his empty pockets. And we haven't even gotten to needing to pay Phil Desaulke.

No trade protection on Toffoli's contract at all, really good signing for Bergy

Kukak and Weal I think... easier to move also

sure, he's not a bad player, but you cannot really have him and Lek (at 3.4M and 2.4M) on the 4th going forward

took a pay cut in a high taxed province with no NTC. clearly no market for him.

I would prefer moving Weal + Kulak instead of Byron. I like Kulak but our defence is full right now, with Edmundson and Romanov added, and Mete re-signed.

Yeah.

I think there is probably a good market for Kulak (right now) TBH, but I wonder if MB waits to see how Romanov looks before any trade.
